JAAC – Japan-America Academic Center
About JAAC
Cultivating Global Leaders for Over 40 Years
The Japan-America Academic Center (JAAC), operated by IBES Corporation, is a pioneering organization in international education. For more than four decades, we have been designing and delivering distinctive, high-quality programs for schools, local governments, and educational institutions throughout Japan.
Our global network spans universities, high schools, vocational colleges, and language institutes across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, the Nordic countries, Latin America, and Asia—including Malaysia and Taiwan. In addition, JAAC collaborates closely with ministries of education and leading educational organizations worldwide.
Our mission is clear: to nurture young people in Japan who will thrive as global leaders. To this end, we provide study abroad opportunities, scholarship programs, customized training (both overseas and in Japan), and innovative online learning solutions.

Enhancing Japan’s English Education with CLIL-Based Online Learning
In today’s academic and professional environments, conversational English alone is insufficient. Success in higher education and on the global stage requires the ability to read, write, analyze, and debate in English.
Our CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) online program is built on authentic U.S. school curricula, allowing students to learn subjects such as science and social studies in English while simultaneously acquiring advanced language proficiency.
The program combines AI-powered adaptive learning with live, interactive classes taught by TEFL-certified native English-speaking instructors, ensuring both academic rigor and personalized support.
